Are you a woman considering a run for office?

Women LEADing Ohio helps to identify, train, and support women who are actively working to elect more women to government offices in Ohio, whether they are working on a campaign or are a candidate themself. By increasing the number of women in the political process in Ohio, we ensure that the needs and voices of women and families are represented in our government.

Women LEADing Ohio programming includes weekend workshops and Informational Sessions throughout the year. All programming is geared towards women, with topics taught by women professionals and elected officials with a lens of being a woman in the typically male dominated space of government. December 10th Session of The Pow-HER to Run 101

We know some of you out there may be saying, "Wait, what? There's an election this year?" We get it! Women are super busy juggling jobs, kids, aging parents, and maybe the occasional dinner with friends, so elections aren't always top of mind. That's where we can help!

In this free virtual information session, we will walk you through everything you need to know about voting in this year's November 4th election. We will cover a wide range of topics including:

What is on the ballot?

Why is voting this year important, particularly for women?

How could I be impacted by the outcome of these elections?

When can I vote?

Where can I vote?

What do I need in order to vote?

What else can I do to get involved?

All are welcome to join us, although the sessions are geared towards women. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at info@leadohio.org
